Affordable Housing
As Supervisor, Margaret built a record of expanding housing affordability across Prince William County. She led the Board in creating the county’s first comprehensive Affordable Housing Strategy, championed the housing trust fund, and worked to increase the supply of units families can actually afford. Margaret focused on ensuring working families, seniors, and first-time homebuyers could stay rooted in the communities they love — without being priced out.
In the House of Delegates, Margaret will continue this work by prioritizing policies that reduce housing costs, streamline production of affordable homes, and protect renters from unfair practices. She knows Virginia can lead the nation in responsible, community-centered housing policy — and she will work to ensure every family has a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home.
Healthcare Access
Expanding access to affordable, high-quality healthcare has been one of Margaret’s core priorities. She supported the development of the new Inova facility in Woodbridge, strengthened county services for children and families, and fought for sustained investments in behavioral health and community care. Her approach is rooted in the belief that healthcare access should never depend on income or ZIP code.
In Richmond, she will champion efforts to lower healthcare costs, broaden access to providers, and safeguard coverage for working families and vulnerable communities. Margaret is committed to helping Virginia meet its healthcare workforce needs, grow its provider network, and keep costs low for patients — so every Virginian can receive the care they deserve.
Reproductive Rights
As Supervisor, Margaret has been a steadfast supporter of reproductive freedom and personal autonomy. She has opposed efforts to restrict access to reproductive healthcare and has championed county policies that support women, families, and community health providers. Margaret knows that every Virginian should have the freedom to make their own private medical decisions without political interference.
In the House of Delegates, she will work to protect and expand reproductive rights, safeguard access to contraception and abortion care, and defend Virginia’s status as a state where women — not politicians — control their healthcare decisions. Margaret is committed to ensuring reproductive rights remain secure for future generations.
Economic Opportunity
Growing economic opportunity has been a defining centerpiece of Margaret’s work as Supervisor. She has championed small businesses, expanded workforce development initiatives, and advanced transportation and infrastructure improvements that support both families and local employers. Her leadership at the state level — including service as Chair of the Economic & Workforce Development Committee for the Virginia Association of Counties — has strengthened strategies that promote broad-based economic growth.
As a Delegate, she will continue this focus by supporting policies that create good-paying jobs, invest in local businesses, and reduce barriers for entrepreneurs. Margaret is committed to ensuring that Virginia meets its workforce needs, strengthens its economy, and keeps costs low for families — and that opportunity reaches every corner of the 23rd District.
Transportation & Infrastructure
As Supervisor, Margaret has played a leading role in strengthening transportation options for Prince William County and Northern Virginia. As Chair of the VRE Operations Board and Chair of PRTC/OmniRide, she helped expand transit access, improve commuter rail service, and secure critical investments that reduce congestion and make daily life more affordable for working families. Margaret focused on bringing reliable, modern transportation solutions to a rapidly growing region — ensuring residents have more ways to get to work, school, and essential services without added cost or stress.

She is committed to securing investments in transit, maintaining and improving our roadways, and designing infrastructure that supports economic growth while easing daily commutes.
