A Record of Service. A Vision for Progress.
Proven Leadership. Real Results for House District 23.
Margaret Angela Franklin has dedicated her career to turning progressive values into meaningful results for working families. First elected to the Prince William Board of County Supervisors in 2019, she became one of the first African American women to serve on the Board, where she championed affordable housing, economic opportunity, child protection, and transportation improvements.
Today, as the Delegate for Virginia's 23rd House District, Margaret continues to deliver for her community in Richmond. She has successfully passed legislation to improve maternal health, increase transparency in government, and strengthen protections for Virginia families, while securing millions in state funding for affordable housing and other local priorities. Drawing on her experience as Vice Chair of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, Chair of the VRE Operations Board, Chair of PRTC/OmniRide, and Chair of the Virginia Association of Counties' Economic & Workforce Development Committee, Margaret remains focused on expanding opportunity, investing in strong communities, and ensuring the voices of House District 23 are heard in the General Assembly.
See if you’re in the 23rd district!
